Performance
Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is standard, giving Subaru's sports sedan tenacious grip that rivals can't equal. The new Subaru WRX works with a 271-horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged direct-injection BOXER® engine and an electronic wastegate providing near-instant boost from 258 pound-feet of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, and paddle shifters come with the Subaru Performance Transmission, delivering 50 percent faster downshifts and 30 percent faster upshifts. A standard track-tuned suspension gives the Subaru WRX its razor-sharp precision handling you can feel as you round corners beyond the Bridgeport city limits.
Design
A compact sports sedan with a high-strength steel frame and a stiff chassis, the Subaru WRX is rigid and ready to handle any road at high speeds. The exterior flashes a honeycomb front grille and flared fenders. There are optional 18-inch alloy wheels and the choice of LED headlights or LED Steering Responsive Headlights. A 7-inch touchscreen is standard for the WRX through the Subaru STARLINK® Multimedia setup featuring Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. Multimedia Plus with a tablet-style 11.6-inch touchscreen enters on the Premium trim. A Harman Kardon® premium audio system with 11 speakers is available, letting you jam out in the Subaru WRX as you accelerate to high speeds.
