You choose your style
The Subaru Impreza comes in two different functioning styles, a four-door sedan or a five-door hatchback. Each one is designed with different looks as well as a unique cargo space arrangement. If you are planning to start a road trip with your family, maybe the hatchback, which contains more space because of its larger cargo area would be a better choice. Or, if you are looking for something a little more stylish, the sedan, with its sleeker and greater capability features, might be perfect. No matter what you choose, the Subaru Impreza can work for you.
What about its competition?
There are always other brands that will make similar cars and the Subaru Impreza is no different. One of its biggest competitors is the Kia Forte.
The Forte and Impreza are a lot alike. They both have a 2.0L H4 or I4 engine, similar 13.2 gallon fuel tanks and many of their specs are off by a few inches, switching the advantage back and forth between both the Subaru model and the Kia one.
The major differences appear in the technology. The Kia Forte, although impressive, lacks in some of the safety and infotainment areas that Subaru does so well. For example, Subaru has included the all new EyeSight system that will monitor, alert, and even assist with potential collisions. The Kia Forte does have a few driver alert systems, but nothing to the caliber of Subaru's EyeSight.
Subaru has also designed SUBARU STARLINK. This available eight-inch infotainment system comes with a built-in TomTom navigation system and can be accessed by multiple apps on either your android or IOS device. The Kia Forte can connect via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, like the Impreza, but in order to access the navigation you have to do so by your phone.
